Who we are
At Ankr Accounting Limited, we set out to make accounting and business advice simple, clear, and practical.
Our founder, Mario Riet-Muller, is a Chartered Accountant (South Africa & UK) with an MBA from Manchester Metropolitan University, where he received a distinction for his dissertation on the strategic implementation of AI in banking. He also completed further studies in Artificial Intelligence at Oxford’s Saïd Business School.
Before starting Ankr, Mario worked in senior finance and compliance roles, including as Product Owner at various large banks in New York and London, leading teams across the UK, Poland, and India.
This experience means we understand more than just the numbers. We know how regulations, systems, and people come together in the day-to-day running of a business.
